Tara Gilhousen

Tara Gilhousen is an Arizona-based voice actress and US Army veteran who has been part of several indie projects. Her roles include characters from popular video game mods such as Skyrim and Fallout, as well as several audio dramas and an in-progress animated series.
Tara has a vocal range from mid-low to high, with an age range from teenager to middle-aged adult. She could voice characters from the higher pitched love-struck anime girl down to the wounded hero screaming a battle cry, down to a disgruntled soldier shouting insults. She also LOVE emotes, and enjoys using them in her acting to make any scene feel even more alive!

Tara has recently completed her first year with The Voice Actor College where she attended classes, both remote and in-person, with several Anime and Video Game ADR/Casting Directors and Voice Actors to include Mami Okada from Bang Zoom! Shawn Gann and Jason Lord from Crunchyroll and Videogame VO/Casting Directors Marc Hawes and Joel McDonald.

On her free time, Tara enjoys training in Shinkendo, a martial art focusing on Japanese swordsmanship. Her other hobbies include cosplaying, gaming, drawing and going on travel adventures with her fiancé and Shiba Inu, Rōnin.
